Turkey Project Closed

I want to start this letter by simply saying, we wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. For the last 23 years the Radio Cab Foundation has been making this wish come to reality for thousands of families across the Portland Metro area.  Feeding families and spreading a little cheer to families who were struggling was our goal and we did it well.

Unfortunately changing times has had an affect on our ability to continue this mission. The Radio Cab Foundation Board met over the summer and came to the heart wrenching decision to dissolve our charitable status and not continue our efforts. This was not an easy decision but one we felt we had to make. COVID-19 had a direct affect on our ability to serve those in our community.

We want to thank the hundreds of volunteers who have helped us over the years.  Your dedication and desire to serve was infectious and kept us going when there was little left in the tank. We also want to acknowledge some of our great corporate partners, Fred Meyer, Dave’s Killer Bread, Franz Bread and many others.

If you, your family or someone you know is in need this holiday season please reach out the Sunshine Division at Sunshinedivision.org or call 211 info for many available resources @ 211info.org.

We pray our world gets brighter for all who are struggling.
